International Cooperation in Higher Education and TVET – bridging the gap between theory and practice of SDGs

From September 30 to October 2, 2026, the UNESCO Chair on Vocational Education and Skills Development for the Future of Work at TU Dortmund University invites you to the International UNESCO Chair Conference.

The conference brings together science, education, politics and practice to discuss how research can provide concrete solutions to major global challenges. The focus is on innovative approaches to sustainable development that contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The focus will be on education and vocational training, digitalization and innovation in higher education, climate protection, sustainable urban development, the circular economy and the protection of cultural heritage.
