The 16^th International Conference on Barkhausen Noise and Micromagnetic Testing will take place on September 21^st to 24^th, 2026, in Dortmund, Germany.
The event will be organized by the Chair of Materials Test Engineering (WPT) at TU Dortmund University, with the sponsorship from Stresstech.

Since 1998, the ICBM conferences have brought together scientists, academics, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments and findings in the field of Barkhausen noise and micromagnetic testing methods. The conference has focused on presenting new applications, developing new sensors, modeling and simulation, modern trends, and material characterization.

In this edition, ICBM16 gladly welcomes contributions with a specialized or niche focus, pilot studies as well as investigations that still have unanswered questions.
