Questions about the account

Separate accounts are always provided for event websites. It is not possible to work editorially on normal TYPO3 sites and event websites with just one account.

To delete or deactivate accounts, please send an e-mail to the ITMC ServiceDesk. Depending on the account, however, the e-mail must be sent by a different person:

  • For editorial accounts: The responsible webadmin or the person responsible for the appearance must write the e-mail.
  • For web admin accounts: The person responsible for the website must write the e-mail.

General questions

Please enter the event abbreviation initially when applying for the event website. The following applies to the structure:

  • The abbreviation should be as short as possible.
  • It should be formulated as eloquently as possible so that third parties can deduce the event from the abbreviation.

It is not possible to change the event abbreviation at a later date.

The leading language of all event websites is always German. This cannot be changed. However, a translation into English is possible, as with normal TYPO3 sites.

Registration for events is realized via the standard form module of the TU Dortmund University TYPO3 installation. Incoming registrations can be sent to one or more e-mail addresses and/or stored centrally in a form endpoint.

A further tool for registration management is not provided.
